1. Information We Collect

We collect certain types of information to provide and improve our services to you:

• Account Information (Registration): When you choose to create an account in the Community section of Rofqa Muslim, we collect registration details (such as your name, email address, and encrypted password) to enable you to log in and participate.
• Location Data: We request precise location access (GPS) solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your city and configure Adhan notifications correctly. Your location is not used for any other purposes and is never shared with third parties.
• User-Generated Content: Posts, comments, and interactions that you create or share within the app's Community section.
• Usage and Device Data: Technical information such as device type, operating system version, and basic device identifiers to ensure the app functions efficiently.
• Error Reports: If the app runs into a technical error while you use it, it automatically sends a technical description of the error (the error message and where it occurred in the app's code) together with only the app version and operating system type, so we can fix it. Reports are not linked to your account or to any device identifier, and are deleted after 90 days.
• Companions in Good: When you create or join a circle (a group khatma or a daily goal), its members see the name you choose for that circle and your progress in it (the ajza' you took and read, or completing the day's goal). Your goal's private details are encrypted and seen by no one else.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To calculate and display accurate prayer times based on your geographical location through the app.
• To manage your account and allow you to safely post content, comment, and interact within the Community section.
• To send notifications and alerts for Adhan times and daily Azkar.
• To improve app performance, develop new features, and protect the platform against misuse.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Information may only be shared under the following circumstances:

• Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users within the Community section.
• Service Providers: We may use trusted technical partners (such as hosting and database providers) to help operate the app under strict confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures (such as encryption and secure protocols) to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or unlawful disclosure.

5. Your Rights and Control

• You can update your personal account information at any time through the app settings.
• You can completely delete your account and associated posts by contacting us or using the "Permanently delete my account" option within the app (Settings & Privacy → My account → Control your data).
• You can revoke location permissions from your phone settings, keeping in mind that this may affect the accuracy of prayer time calculations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You will be notified of any material changes via an app update or by posting the new version here. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of those changes.
