Terms of Use for Rofqa Muslim
Last Updated: October 4, 2026
Welcome to Rofqa Muslim. By using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy, so please read them carefully. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.
1. The service
Rofqa Muslim helps you with your daily worship: the mushaf with its recitation and tafsir, adhkar and duas, prayer times and the qibla, the Hijri calendar, Companions in Good, and the community. We keep improving the app, so we may add, change or retire features.
2. Your account
- You start without signing up: the app creates an anonymous identity on our servers that keeps your progress and points.
- If you create an email account to take part in the community, you are responsible for the accuracy of your details, the secrecy of your password, and everything done from your account.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, take part in the community only with your guardian's permission.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or by email, as described on the account deletion page.
3. Community rules
When you post in the community or in Companions in Good, you agree to the following:
- Respect and good faith: no insults, mockery or bullying.
- No fatwas or religious claims without a trusted source.
- No hate, incitement or inappropriate content.
- No personal details such as phone numbers or addresses, and no ads or spam links.
- Do not post what you have no right to share.
Reports are reviewed, and we may remove content or suspend an account, temporarily or for good, when the rules are broken. You can report any content and block any user from within the app.
4. Your content
- What you post stays yours. You give us a free, non-exclusive permission to show it in the app to those allowed to see it, for as long as it is posted.
- You are responsible for what you post, and you can edit or delete it anytime.
- In Companions in Good, a circle's members see the name you choose for it and your progress in it; your goal's private details are encrypted and seen by no one else.
5. Religious content
- The text of the Holy Quran is shown exactly as it comes from its trusted sources, without any change, and nothing in the app uses AI to generate ayat, hadiths or tafsir.
- Tafsir, translations, recitations and hadiths are credited to their sources, each under its owners' rights and licences.
- The app is a help to worship. It does not replace scholars for fatwas or specialists for health or emotional matters, and it is not an emergency service.
6. Prayer times and notifications
Prayer times and the qibla are calculated from your location and the chosen calculation method, and may differ by a few minutes from your mosque's timetable; where they differ, follow your local mosque or your country's official authority. Notifications may be delayed or missed because of your phone's battery-saving settings.
7. Acceptable use
Do not try to break into or disrupt the app or its servers, collect other users' data, use automated tools to post or to earn points, or manipulate the rankings or campaigns.
8. Ownership
The app's design, emblem and code are ours. Third-party content, such as the Quran text, the Madinah mushaf fonts, the recitations and the translations, belongs to its owners and is used under their licences.
9. Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the app working well and without interruption, but we provide it as is, without a guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, and we are not liable for any indirect harm arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.
10. Changes
We may change these terms; we will post the new version here with its date, and let you know in the app if the change is material. Continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept them.
11. Contact us
