The Verse of the Throne
Allah—there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is there who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not weary Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.

The evidence
It was narrated from Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says, after the Fajr prayer, while sitting with his legs crossed, before speaking: ‘There is no god but Allah alone; He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things omnipotent’; ten times: ten good deeds will be recorded for him, ten bad deeds will be erased from him, and he will be raised ten degrees, and his entire day will be protected from all that is undesirable, and he is protected from Satan, and no sin should befall him on that day except associating partners with Allah.
